All agreed that I'm the publisher, etc. However, in the process they broke the data record underneath and I need to fight for weeks to get anything done with that book. Oh it is ABSOLUTELY frustrating. I have a book that was legitimately transferred to me by the author. All agreed that I'm the publisher, etc. However, in the process they broke the data record underneath and I need to fight for weeks to get anything done with that book. I'm very close to pulling it down, assigning a new ISBN and starting over. Just don't want to lose the reviews. It *is* possible to transfer the POD to Ingram, but that has its own delays and insanity. Because why would ANYTHING in this industry be EASY???
Digital does have it's own challenges as well, BUT an author can take and keep hold and control the damage far easier with digital than any other format....AND make more money.

This is why I prefer digital to anything else.
